The difference in between a Multidisciplinary Discomfort Center and a Multidisciplinary Pain Center is that the previous has research and mentor components that need not be present in the latter. Hence, products # 15, 16 and 17 above are not required for a Multidisciplinary Pain Center (what happens when you are referred to a pain clinic). All of the other items need to be present.
If among the physicians is not a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist is important. The health care companies must interact with each other on a routine basis both about private clients and programs provided in the pain treatment center.
