ISO boot issue
#1
Hi

I'm new to CloverOS whilst being a Gentoo Heart  user for over a decade now.

I'm looking forward to an easier ( ? ) method of installing Gentoo on my new Thinkpad T480 but I can't get around a booting issue (that I feel real stupid about...)

So, I dd the CloverOS-x86_64-20200313.iso to /dev/sdb - sdb being a USB stick. At boot, my Bios recognizes the stick, but appearently not the iso on it and I can't figure out why.

Any ideas where to start? The stick is confirmed working and booting with a Debian ISO - and switching to another USB-port isn't a solution either Tongue

Any help or idea highly appreciated.

have you used bs=4M? that works for me on my A485.
Remember to have secure usb enabled in the bios so it will detect it properly
